Airports, stations and the pickup 4 questions
How long will the chauffeur wait at the airport?
Sixty minutes after a domestic arrival and ninety minutes after an international one are included, measured from the aircraft landing rather than from the scheduled time. Beyond that, waiting is charged in fifteen-minute steps at the hourly rate for the vehicle class. Give us the flight number and delays simply move the chauffeur.

Where will I find the chauffeur at Delhi or Mumbai airport?
At Delhi Terminal 3 the chauffeur waits in the arrivals meeting hall past the customs exit with a name board; at Mumbai Terminal 2 at the international or domestic arrivals gate on Level 2. Every airport page and every confirmation email names the exact spot for the terminal you land at, or a curbside pickup if you prefer to call once you have your bags.

Is the fare fixed, or does it change with traffic?
Transfers are quoted as a fixed all-in fare for the journey. Traffic, weather and road closures are our problem, not a surcharge. Hourly bookings are billed for the hours reserved plus any extension you ask for on the day, at the same hourly rate. Tolls, airport parking and state entry taxes are inside the figure.

How far ahead do I need to book?
Airport and point-to-point transfers in the metros can usually be confirmed the same day, subject to vehicle availability. Hourly bookings, hill-station journeys and anything involving a van are best reserved 48 hours ahead. Weddings, festival weeks, Diwali, IPL finals and trade-show weeks sell out weeks in advance and should be booked as soon as the date is fixed.

Hourly, private chauffeur and the hills 4 questions
What is the hourly minimum?
Four hours for sedans, SUVs and MPVs, eight hours for vans and outstation day hire. Travel time from the garage to the first pickup and back from the last drop is charged for vans and outstation bookings only, and is shown on the quote before you confirm.

Can I book a chauffeur for a whole day or a whole week?
Yes. The private chauffeur service assigns one chauffeur and one vehicle to you for a day, a week or a season. Daily and weekly rates are lower per hour than the standard hourly rate, and the same chauffeur is kept on your booking wherever possible.

Do you drive to hill stations and on mountain roads?
Daily. Chandigarh to Shimla, Delhi to Mussoorie or Nainital, Bagdogra to Darjeeling, Coimbatore to Ooty and Kochi to Munnar are regular routes, driven in SUVs by chauffeurs who know the roads. Where a permit or a local vehicle is required, as at Rohtang, the desk arranges it and tells you before you confirm.

Money: fares, GST, cards, UPI and cancellations 6 questions
Are gratuities included?
A standard allowance for the chauffeur is built into every quote so the chauffeur is never left waiting on a tip and you are never left calculating one. Anything extra you choose to give is entirely at your discretion and goes to the chauffeur in full.

Agencies, hotels and the travel desk 2 questions
Can a hotel, DMC or travel agency book on behalf of a guest?
Yes. Hotels, destination management companies, travel agencies and executive assistants book under their own account, the guest sees an unbranded black car and a chauffeur who knows the agency's name, and the invoice goes to the account holder at month end.

Can you arrange flights and hotels as well as the car?
Our travel desk runs on BookingWorldwide.net for flights, hotels, resorts, activities, packages and car rental. The advantage is that the ground transport is timed against a confirmed itinerary rather than an estimate.
