Outstation chauffeur from New Delhi: intercity journeys and multi-day charters
Delhi is the base for the Golden Triangle and for the Braj pilgrimage towns, and every route out of the city is an expressway run. Your chauffeur handles the Yamuna Expressway tolls, the Uttar Pradesh and Rajasthan entry formalities, and the timing that gets you to the Taj before the crowds.

Outstation in New Delhi
The Yamuna Expressway is the reason Agra works as a day trip. From Greater Noida the expressway authority puts Agra at 130 km and about two and a half hours, and from a central Delhi hotel the door-to-door run is about 230 km and three and a half to four hours. Mathura and Vrindavan lie beside the same road, about 150 km out, and are often taken as a pause on the way back. The Taj Mahal is closed on Fridays, its ticket windows open an hour before sunrise, and petrol and diesel vehicles are kept out of the immediate vicinity, so the chauffeur drops you at the parking edge where battery buses and tongas take over.
The routes we drive from New Delhi
Jaipur is about 280 km down NH48, which the tourism board still calls NH8, and the same source counts it as five hours, so it is better as an overnight than a day return; the chauffeur stays with the car and the second day covers Amber and the old city before the run home. Neemrana Fort sits on the same road about 120 km out and makes a lunch stop or a first night. For the full Golden Triangle the usual shape is Delhi to Agra on the Yamuna Expressway, Agra to Jaipur across the Rajasthan border, and Jaipur back to Delhi on NH48, three or four days with the chauffeur and car throughout.
Permits, halts and the multi-day charter
Crossing into Uttar Pradesh, Haryana or Rajasthan brings a state entry tax on a commercial vehicle, and the chauffeur pays it at the border post and itemises it; you never handle cash at a barrier. Expressway tolls are FASTag and appear the same way. Multi-day charters include the chauffeur night halt, arranged near your hotel, and the daily kilometre allowance is agreed in the written quote before departure. Start early on any Agra day: the expressway is fast, but the last stretch into the city and the parking-to-gate transfer are not, and the light at the Taj is best before nine.

Questions
Outstation in New Delhi: frequently asked
Can Agra be done as a day trip from Delhi?
Yes. Leave the hotel by six, reach Agra on the Yamuna Expressway in three and a half to four hours, see the Taj and Agra Fort, and be back for a late dinner. Avoid Fridays, when the Taj Mahal is closed, and remember the monument is a battery-bus ride from where cars are allowed to stop.
Is Jaipur better as a day return or an overnight?
An overnight. The tourism ministry itself counts Delhi to Jaipur as five hours by road, so a day return leaves almost no time in the city. With a night at a Jaipur hotel the chauffeur and car are available the next morning for Amber Fort and the old city, then the run back on NH48.
Who pays the tolls and state entry taxes?
The chauffeur. Yamuna Expressway and NH48 tolls go through FASTag, and the Uttar Pradesh, Haryana or Rajasthan entry tax is paid at the border post; both are itemised on the invoice at cost. You are not asked for cash at any barrier.
What does a three-day Golden Triangle charter include?
The same chauffeur and car for the whole loop, the chauffeur night halts in Agra and Jaipur, tolls and entry taxes, and a daily kilometre allowance set out in the written quote. Hotels, monument tickets and guides are booked separately or through the coordinator on request.
