Hourly chauffeur in New Delhi: a car and driver at your disposal
An hourly chauffeur in Delhi is three cities in one booking: Lutyens Delhi and the embassy enclave, the courts and ministries, and the corporate towers of Gurugram and Noida. The car stays with you between meetings, and the chauffeur sequences the day around the traffic rather than the map.

Hourly hire in New Delhi
Most executive days here begin in one of three clusters. The ministries and missions sit around Chanakyapuri and the Lutyens bungalow zone; the courts are at Patiala House and the Supreme Court on Tilak Marg; the private-sector towers are in Cyber City and along Golf Course Road in Gurugram, or in Sector 62 in Noida. Connaught Place and Nehru Place hold the older corporate addresses in between. A booking from four hours lets the chauffeur hold the car at each stop, so a meeting that overruns costs you minutes rather than a fresh cab search. Convention days at Yashobhoomi in Dwarka Sector 25 or India Expo Mart in Greater Noida are usually booked as full days with exhibition-gate drops.
Where an hourly booking goes in New Delhi
Beyond the boardroom the same car covers the hospital belt, with AIIMS, Apollo at Sarita Vihar, Fortis at Vasant Kunj and Medanta in Gurugram on the regular medical-travel circuit; the chauffeur waits through consultations and handles pharmacy stops on the way back. Shopping runs go to Khan Market, Ambience Mall and Cyber Hub, and evening hires end with dinner in Khan Market or the Mehrauli restaurant row. Wedding season, November to February, fills the Chhatarpur farmhouse belt and the Aerocity ballrooms; a wedding hire covers the baraat timing and the late return to the hotel, and multi-car bookings are quoted by a coordinator.
How the hours work
The booking flows simply: you give the first pick-up point and a start time, the chauffeur arrives ten minutes early with the car cooled, and the hours run as directed until you release him. Extending is a message to the coordinator, and the fare stays the published hourly rate rather than a renegotiation on the kerb. Two dates matter for planning: the Republic Day parade on 26 January closes the Kartavya Path and India Gate roads for days beforehand, and the Delhi Half Marathon in October shuts central routes for a morning. The chauffeur knows both calendars and reroutes without being asked.

Questions
Hourly chauffeur in New Delhi: frequently asked
What is the minimum hourly booking in Delhi?
Four hours, with the car and chauffeur at your disposal for as many stops as you like within the NCR, Gurugram and Noida included. Additional hours are added at the published rate; there is no surcharge for crossing the Delhi-Haryana or Delhi-Uttar Pradesh line inside the NCR.
Can one hourly booking cover Gurugram and Noida on the same day?
Yes, but plan the order. Cyber City to Sector 62 is a crossing of the whole city, so the chauffeur will suggest starting at the far end and working back towards your hotel, or pairing Noida with Anand Vihar or east Delhi stops rather than with Gurugram.
Do you wait at hospitals and clinics?
The chauffeur waits for the full consultation, whether at AIIMS, Apollo Sarita Vihar, Fortis Vasant Kunj or Medanta, and handles chemist and diagnostic-centre stops on the same booking. For patients with reduced mobility a larger vehicle can be requested at the time of booking.
Are conference venues outside Delhi proper covered by the hourly rate?
Yashobhoomi at Dwarka Sector 25 and India Expo Mart at Greater Noida are both inside the NCR area of the hourly rate. For India Expo Mart allow a long first leg, about 50 km from the airport side, and book the return with the exhibition closing time in mind.
