Medical passengers book by the hour for Amrita Hospital at Edappally, Aster Medcity at Cheranalloor and Lakeshore at Maradu, with the car at the entrance and a wheelchair carried on request; Amrita and Aster are on the airport side of the city, Lakeshore on the southern bypass. Billing is by the whole hour from the first pick-up, with a minimum block, the kilometre allowance covers the city and Kakkanad, and parking is paid by the chauffeur and shown at cost. The Kochi-Muziris Biennale from December to April in alternate years spreads venues across Fort Kochi, Mattancherry and Ernakulam, and the Cochin Carnival in the last week of December closes the Fort Kochi roads for the parade; the chauffeur knows the diversions.
