Airport transfer in New Delhi: chauffeur pickup at Indira Gandhi International Airport
Indira Gandhi International Airport spreads across three terminals: T3 for every international flight and much of the domestic schedule, T1 and T2 for domestic only. Your chauffeur confirms the terminal against the ticket, meets you at the arrivals exit with a name board, and runs NH48 to Connaught Place, about 16 km away.

Airport transfers in New Delhi
At T3 the chauffeur waits inside the international arrivals hall beside the customs exit, name board raised, and walks you out to the car. DIAL designates Lane 3 on the T3 arrivals forecourt for private-car pick-ups, while app cabs load from Level 0 of the multi-level car park; we use the private-car lane so you are never queuing with the taxi crowd. At T1 the pick-up lane is also Lane 3 and at T2 it is Lane 1, both reached from the approach flyover. Foreign nationals now file the e-Arrival Card online before landing, which shortens immigration, and the chauffeur times the pick-up to the actual landing rather than the scheduled one.
Routes and drive times from DEL
Aerocity hotels sit on the airport doorstep, under ten minutes from T3. Connaught Place is about 16 km by NH48 and the Dhaula Kuan interchange, 35 to 60 minutes depending on the hour; the Chanakyapuri embassies and Lutyens Delhi are a little closer on the same road. Southbound, the Delhi-Gurugram stretch of NH48 reaches Cyber City in about 15 km, and the Dwarka Expressway is the alternative into the newer Gurugram sectors. Eastbound to Noida the chauffeur takes the ring road and the DND Flyway, a longer run of 35 to 40 km. If you would rather skip the road, the Airport Express metro reaches New Delhi station from T3 in about 25 minutes and the chauffeur can meet you there.
Practical notes for DEL
Allow at least an hour on top of the drive time for a T3 departure, more in the evening peak when NH48 and the Aerocity approach slow down. Night arrivals are simple: pick-ups run around the clock, and since the Airport Express metro stops at 11:30 pm the car is the only comfortable option after that. Tolls at Kherki Daula and on the Yamuna Expressway are paid by the chauffeur through FASTag and itemised on the invoice. If your flight is held, the chauffeur moves the car into the multi-level car park and returns to the forecourt on your call, so a delay never becomes a kerbside problem. For departures the drop is on the departure-level lane and the chauffeur stays until you are inside.
T3 handles every international flight plus most Air India domestic services; T1 handles IndiGo, SpiceJet and Air India Express domestic; the refurbished T2 reopened in October 2025 for part of Air India's domestic schedule. About 16 km to Connaught Place.

Questions
Airport transfer in New Delhi: frequently asked
Which terminal will my flight use at Delhi?
T3 takes every international flight and most Air India domestic services; T1 is domestic only for IndiGo, SpiceJet and Air India Express; T2 is domestic only and, per DIAL, handles IndiGo 2000-series and Air India 1000-series flight numbers. Allocations moved during 2025-26, so the chauffeur checks the terminal on your ticket the evening before.
Where exactly will the chauffeur meet me at T3?
Inside the international arrivals hall, beside the exit from customs, holding a name board. The car is brought round to Lane 3, the lane DIAL sets aside for private-car pick-ups on the arrivals forecourt, so the walk is short and you are not sharing a queue with the prepaid-taxi counters.
How long is the run from T3 to Cyber City in Gurugram?
About 15 km down NH48, usually 25 to 40 minutes, and closer to an hour in the evening peak. Golf Course Extension Road and Sector 62 are a further ten kilometres. The Kherki Daula toll is only on the road beyond Cyber City towards Manesar.
My flight lands after midnight. Is a pick-up still possible?
Yes. The chauffeur tracks the flight and waits at the arrivals exit whatever the hour, with the waiting time on the reservation. The Airport Express metro finishes at 11:30 pm and the Magenta Line at T1 at the same time, so a pre-booked car is the reliable late option.
