Airport transfer in Gurugram: chauffeur pickup at Indira Gandhi International Airport, Delhi
Gurugram has no airport of its own. Every arrival comes through Delhi's Indira Gandhi International Airport on the city's northern edge, and the chauffeur's job is the NH48 run south: about 15 km from Terminal 3 to Cyber City, past the Kherki Daula toll plaza to Manesar for the plant visits.

Airport transfers in Gurugram
The terminal decides the meeting point. International passengers clear customs at Terminal 3 and find the chauffeur inside the arrivals hall with a name board beside the customs exit; domestic passengers on IndiGo, SpiceJet or Air India Express usually arrive at Terminal 1, while part of Air India's domestic schedule now uses the refurbished Terminal 2. Because airlines move flights between Delhi's terminals from season to season, the chauffeur confirms the terminal against the ticket the evening before and again when the flight lands. Once the passenger is in the car, the chauffeur joins NH48 southbound within a few minutes, without touching central Delhi at all.
Routes and drive times from DEL
The Oberoi and Trident in Udyog Vihar, right on the Delhi border, are about 25 minutes from the airport in normal traffic; Cyber City and Cyber Hub are a further 10 minutes down the road. From there NH48 continues to the Kherki Daula toll plaza, which went fully cashless from the end of March 2026, and on to Manesar and the IMT plants about 35 km from the terminal. Golf Course Road and Golf Course Extension Road, where most of the newer towers and the Leela Ambience, Taj City Centre and Hyatt Regency stand, are 20 to 25 km and can take up to an hour in the evening peak, so the chauffeur uses the Sohna Road and sector roads when NH48 backs up.
Practical notes for DEL
A few practical points. The NH48 toll and any parking at the terminal are paid by the chauffeur and itemised on the invoice; the passenger carries no cash for the road. Night arrivals are quicker, about 20 minutes to Udyog Vihar after midnight, but the chauffeur still allows a buffer because the airport approach roads carry construction traffic. For departures from Gurugram the rule of thumb is 90 minutes before a domestic check-in closes and two hours before an international one, which means leaving Cyber City about 45 minutes before that and Golf Course Extension Road an hour before. Luggage for a family or a trade delegation goes in an MPV or a second vehicle rather than a squeezed saloon.
Gurugram has no airport of its own; Delhi's IGI is on its northern edge. About 15 km from T3 to Cyber City by NH48, and about 25 km to Golf Course Extension Road. Terminal rules follow Delhi: T3 international, T1 and T2 domestic.

Questions
Airport transfer in Gurugram: frequently asked
Which Delhi terminal will my flight use for a Gurugram transfer?
Terminal 3 handles all international flights and most Air India domestic services; Terminal 1 takes IndiGo, SpiceJet and Air India Express domestic; Terminal 2 reopened in late 2025 for part of Air India's domestic schedule. The chauffeur checks the terminal on the ticket the night before and confirms it on the day.
How long is the drive from IGI Airport to Cyber City?
About 15 km. The Oberoi at Udyog Vihar is roughly a 25-minute drive from the airport by the hotel's own reckoning, and Cyber City is about 10 minutes beyond that. In the evening peak the same run can stretch to 40 minutes, and Golf Course Extension Road or Sector 62 can take up to an hour.
Is the Kherki Daula toll included?
Yes. The toll plaza on NH48 between Gurugram and Manesar is paid by the chauffeur, along with terminal parking, and itemised on the invoice. The plaza has been cashless since the end of March 2026, so the car carries a valid FASTag and the passenger is not asked for anything at the barrier.
When should I leave Gurugram for a departure from Delhi?
Leave Cyber City or Udyog Vihar about 45 minutes before you want to be at the terminal, and Golf Course Extension Road, Sohna Road or Manesar about an hour before. For international flights from Terminal 3 that means being in the car roughly three hours before departure; for domestic flights, two to two and a half hours.
