The luxury classes, and why each one is in the fleet
The luxury sedan class is the Mercedes-Benz S-Class and the BMW 7 Series: long-wheelbase cars whose point is the rear cabin, the seat that reclines, the quiet, the sense that the road is somebody else's problem. It is the vehicle for a principal, for a bride, for a first-class passenger who does not want the journey from Mumbai T2 to the Taj Mahal Palace to be a step down from the flight. Three passengers can travel; two travel properly.
The luxury SUV, the Mercedes-Benz GLS alongside the Toyota Land Cruiser and Fortuner, is the luxury class for India's roads once they leave the expressway. Ground clearance matters between Jaipur and Ranthambore or on the climb to Mussoorie, luggage matters on a ten-day tour, and the GLS gives up nothing in the cabin. The luxury van, the Mercedes-Benz V-Class and the Toyota Vellfire, seats six facing one another with room to work, and it is what the desk sends for a family or a board that wants to share the journey rather than split across two cars.

The chauffeur
What a luxury chauffeur does that a driver does not
The chauffeur is the service. Rates
What luxury costs, and what is inside the figure
The luxury sedan on the international card is $300 an hour with a four-hour minimum, $2,600 for an airport transfer, $2,200 for an eight-hour, eighty-kilometre day and $2,700 for a ten-hour, 300 km charter day with fuel and the chauffeur's outstation costs inside. The luxury SUV is $250 an hour, $280 for the airport and $1,850 for the day; the luxury van matches the sedan. The international card bills the same in dollars: the luxury sedan at $300 an hour with a two-hour minimum, $350 for the airport and $2,200 for the day. GST is added; tolls, parking, state taxes and permits are at cost; a night allowance of $50 applies between 10 pm and 6 am; no gratuity is expected.
On multi-day engagements the charter tiers apply: ten per cent off from the third day, a week billed as 5.5 days, a month as 20 days with a dedicated and a relief chauffeur. The charter builder prices the engagement live and the rates page carries every class on both cards.
Booking
How to book a luxury chauffeur in India
Airport transfers, hourly hire and day packages in the luxury classes are booked and paid on the booking page, with the fare fixed before payment and the chauffeur's name and the registration sent the day before. Multi-day itineraries, weddings and engagements with protocol or security requirements go through the contact page or the charter builder and come back as a written quote with the chauffeur proposed. Overseas clients, agencies and hotels are billed on the international card and can hold blocks of luxury days for a season.
Lead times are honest rather than optimistic: a luxury sedan in a metro can usually be found for the next day; an S-Class in Jaipur in the wedding season, a V-Class in Goa at New Year or three matching cars for a delegation want a week or more. The desk will say which it is when it confirms.
