From the airport, New Town and Rajarhat, with the JW Marriott and the newer hotels, are ten to twenty minutes; Salt Lake Sector V about 10 km and fifteen to thirty minutes by VIP Road; Park Street and Camac Street, with the Oberoi Grand, the Park and the Taj Bengal beyond in Alipore, about 17 km and thirty to sixty minutes; Dalhousie and BBD Bagh, the old business district, forty-five minutes to an hour; the ITC Royal Bengal and ITC Sonar on the Bypass twenty to forty minutes; Howrah station across the bridge an hour in the evening.
