The Mumbai-Pune Expressway is the most productive executive road in the west: about 150 km and three hours to Hinjewadi, Koregaon Park or the plants at Chakan, spent in the rear seat with a call and a document rather than in a departure lounge. Lonavala at the halfway point hosts the offsites; Nashik's vineyards are about 170 km for a client day; Alibaug across the Atal Setu is the weekend. On the international card the executive sedan is $190 an hour with a four-hour minimum, $220 for an airport transfer from either airport, $420 for the four-hour, forty-kilometre half day, $1,400 for the eight-hour, eighty-kilometre day and $1,700 for the charter day; extra hours are $190 and extra kilometres $3. GST is added; the Sea Link, Coastal Road, Atal Setu and Expressway tolls and parking are at cost; a night allowance of $50 applies between 10 pm and 6 am.
