India tour packages, driven: one car and one chauffeur for the whole circuit
Most tour packages sell you a seat and a schedule. Ours sell you a vehicle, a chauffeur and a route, with the transport priced from the same published rate card as every other booking on this site and the hotels quoted separately so you can see what each half actually costs. The circuits below are the ones we can run end to end on our own chauffeurs, from cities where we already operate every day.

How ours differ
What you are actually buying
A conventional tour package bundles hotels, transport, entries and a guide into a single per-person figure, and the margin sits somewhere inside it where you cannot see it. We split the package in two and publish the half we control. The transport — the vehicle, the chauffeur, the fuel, the chauffeur's own meals and accommodation on the road — is priced at our published charter-day rate multiplied by the number of days, and you can check that arithmetic against the rates page in about ten seconds.
The other half — the stays, the meals, the monument entries, the licensed guides — is quoted on request rather than published, because those are contracted per date and per hotel category and any figure we printed would be out of date or padded. Send the dates and the category you want and the desk returns an itemised written quote. You can also take the transport alone and book your own hotels, which a surprising number of repeat travellers do.
What does not change between the two is the driving. The same car and the same chauffeur carry the whole circuit, from the airport meet to the final drop. There is no re-assignment at a city boundary, no shared coach, and no new driver on day four who does not know where you wanted to stop.
The circuits
Where a chauffeured circuit makes most sense
India has roughly four kinds of multi-day route, and the car earns its keep differently in each.
Monument circuits
The Golden Triangle and the Rajasthan heritage route: three to ten days of 200-300 km legs on good highways, where the car is both transport and luggage store and flying between the cities saves nothing.
Landscape circuits
Kerala's backwaters and hills, Himachal, Uttarakhand, the Northeast: routes where the drive is a substantial part of what you came for and a chauffeur who knows the road in fog or monsoon is the difference between a good day and a frightening one.
Temple and heritage circuits
South India, Odisha, the Buddhist circuit: long days between towns with few good places to stop, where having your own vehicle to retreat to matters more than it does in a city.
Coastal and short circuits
Goa, coastal Karnataka, Maharashtra's Deccan caves: three to five days where a car unlocks the places the coaches skip.
What runs today
The circuits we operate on our own chauffeurs
The Golden Triangle — Delhi, Agra and Jaipur in four, five or six days — is live now, in three lengths, with the itinerary, the road distances and the full transport price for every vehicle class on each page. It is the circuit most first visits to India begin with and the one our 32-city footprint covers most completely.
The rest of the programme is being built in the same format: Rajasthan, Kerala, Himachal, Goa, Uttarakhand, South India, Karnataka, Darjeeling and Sikkim, the Northeast, the Buddhist circuit, Gujarat, Maharashtra, Punjab and Odisha. Each will carry the same day-by-day itinerary with real distances and drive times, the same published transport pricing, and the same separately quoted stays.
If the circuit you want is not published yet, the charter builder prices a multi-day route of any shape live on the same card, and the city-to-city page carries the individual intercity legs as fixed fares. The desk will build a run sheet around either.
The standard
Who drives, and what the rate covers
Every chauffeur on a circuit holds a commercial licence and a state transport badge, has cleared police verification and a background check, wears a uniform and speaks English and Hindi alongside the local language. Every vehicle carries a commercial permit, fitness certificate and insurance, and the registration goes on the written confirmation so a hotel or a security office can check it against the Parivahan records.
The charter day is ten hours and 300 kilometres, which is the shape an intercity touring day actually takes, and it includes fuel and the chauffeur's meals and accommodation on outstation nights. Tolls, parking and state entry taxes are charged at cost against receipts rather than estimated into the fare — on a Rajasthan circuit the state road tax is a real line and we would rather show it than bury it. GST is added at the applicable rate.
Cancellation is the same schedule as every other booking: free more than 72 hours before the first pickup, 10% inside 72 hours, 50% inside 48 hours, and the full first day inside 24 hours or for a no-show. It is published in full on the cancellation policy page.
Reading the price
Why two numbers, and how to compare them with anyone else’s
The single most useful thing you can do when comparing tour quotes in India is to separate the transport from the land arrangements, because that is where the two halves of the market behave completely differently. Ground transport is a commodity with a knowable cost: a vehicle, a chauffeur, fuel, tolls and the driver’s nights on the road. Hotels are not — the same room in Jaipur moves by a factor of three between July and January, and between a business hotel and a heritage haveli.
An operator who quotes you one all-in per-person figure has blended those two together, and you cannot tell which half carries the margin. Our transport figure is the published charter-day rate times the number of days, and the rate is on the rates page for anyone to check. If another quote is cheaper overall, that is a useful thing to know — but ask them to split it, because a low headline with a three-star hotel in a bad location is not the same trip.
The second thing worth checking is what happens when a day overruns. Our charter day is ten hours and 300 kilometres with published extra-hour and extra-kilometre rates, so a long day has a known cost and the coordinator tells you before it is incurred, not after. A package with no stated day length has no stated answer to that question.
The third is the cancellation schedule, which for us is the same on a six-day circuit as on a single airport transfer: free more than 72 hours out, then 10%, 50% and 100% inside 72, 48 and 24 hours. It is published on the cancellation policy page rather than buried in a booking condition.
Where we start
The cities a circuit can begin and end in
Every circuit here begins in a city where we already run chauffeurs daily, which is what makes the airport meet, the vehicle standard and the coordinator possible rather than subcontracted. That is 32 cities, from Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Chennai and Kolkata through Jaipur, Udaipur, Jodhpur, Agra, Goa, Kochi, Varanasi, Amritsar, Dehradun and Guwahati to Ahmedabad, Pune, Chandigarh, Lucknow, Indore, Bhubaneswar, Coimbatore and the rest. The city guides list them all with the local rates and the airport each one uses.
It also sets an honest boundary. Circuits that depend on flights and ferries — the Andamans, Lakshadweep — are not on this page, because we would be reselling someone else’s ground handling and calling it ours. Ladakh and Kashmir are road circuits we do not yet have a base city for; we can arrange them through affiliates, but we will say so rather than implying our own chauffeurs are driving.
If your trip starts in one of our cities and ends in another, that is not an obstacle — a one-way circuit is priced the same way, with the chauffeur’s return built into the charter-day rate. The city-to-city page carries the individual legs if you want to see the component fares.
Choosing
How to pick a circuit and a length
Start with the season rather than the destination. North India — the Golden Triangle, Rajasthan, Uttarakhand — runs from October to March and is uncomfortable in May and June. The Himalayan circuits invert that: Himachal and Ladakh are summer routes, closed or difficult in deep winter. Kerala and the south are year-round with a monsoon caveat, and the Northeast is best either side of the rains. The desk will say plainly if your dates and your chosen circuit do not suit each other, rather than selling you the trip anyway.
Then pick the length by pace, not by coverage. Almost every circuit here exists in a short, a standard and an unhurried version, and the difference between them is rarely a missing monument — it is whether the mornings start in the dark and whether the long legs are broken by a stop. Families with young children, travellers with a mobility limit and anyone who photographs seriously should take the longer version; it is the same route, walked rather than marched.
Finally pick the vehicle by luggage and legs, not by headcount alone. Two travellers with two suitcases are comfortable in the executive sedan. A family of four accumulating shopping over six days is better in the premium MPV, which also costs less per day. Six or more take the executive Tempo Traveller. Booking
How to book a circuit
Open the circuit page, pick the length and the vehicle class, and book the transport direct on the booking page with the fare fixed before payment. The chauffeur's name and licence number and the vehicle registration arrive the day before the first pickup. For the all-inclusive version, send the dates and the hotel category through the contact page for an itemised written quote within one working day.
Overseas travellers are billed on the international card in dollars. The travel desk handles the flights and stays around the circuit, and through Limousine Association International affiliates the same desk arranges the chauffeur at the other end in 56 countries.

What is included in the price shown on a circuit page?
The whole ground-transport package: the private vehicle for every day, one chauffeur throughout, fuel, the chauffeur's meals and accommodation on outstation nights, all transfers inside the itinerary, and a named coordinator. Hotels, meals, entries and guides are the separately quoted tier.
Why are hotels not included in the published price?
Because hotel rates are contracted per date and per category, and any figure we printed on a page would either be stale or padded to stay safe. We quote them in writing against your dates instead, itemised, so you can see the two halves separately.
Is the price per person or for the car?
For the car. Four people in a premium MPV pay the same transport figure as two. What moves the price is the vehicle class and the number of days, not the headcount.
Can we book the transport only and arrange our own hotels?
Yes, and many repeat travellers do exactly that. Book the transport on the booking page and the coordinator builds the run sheet around whichever hotels you have reserved.
Do we get the same chauffeur for the whole circuit?
Yes, and the same vehicle. The chauffeur's own accommodation on the road is inside the rate, which is what makes that possible without a surcharge at each city boundary.
What if the circuit we want is not listed?
