The terminals
T2 and T1 at Sanganer: which one your flight uses
Jaipur's airport at Sanganer handles domestic flights through Terminal 2 and international flights through Terminal 1, whose new international building has been in use since October 2024. The terminals are close together on the same campus, and the desk checks the terminal against the flight number when the booking is made and again the day before. At each the chauffeur waits at the arrivals exit beyond customs with a name board, in the zone the airport allows for private chauffeurs, and the confirmation names that point and gives the chauffeur's number. The car is in the pick-up lane for the short halt the airport permits or in the car park a few minutes' walk away, and the chauffeur takes the trolley either way.
The sixty minutes of waiting inside every airport fare are counted from the moment the aircraft lands. Domestic arrivals clear quickly; the international services from the Gulf and South-East Asia pass the Bureau of Immigration desks in a few minutes to half an hour; baggage follows. The chauffeur waits through all of it, a passenger delayed inside the terminal is never treated as a no-show, and waiting beyond the hour is charged in fifteen-minute steps at the class's extra-hour rate. Which car to book from Jaipur airport
The luxury SUV, a Toyota Fortuner, Land Cruiser or Mercedes-Benz GLS, is Jaipur's most-booked airport car: up to five passengers with four bags, the right car for a touring party and a journey on to Ranthambore, at $280 on the international card. The executive sedan, an E-Class or 5 Series, is the standard for one or two passengers with two large bags at $220. The luxury sedan, the S-Class or 7 Series, is $350 for a bride or a palace arrival, and the Jaipur S-Class page covers it. The premium MPV, an Innova Hycross or Kia Carnival, carries six with five bags at $250 and is the family choice. The V-Class and the group vans cover wedding families and parties of twelve, and coaches through the network cover the wedding-guest flights. GST is added; tolls and parking are at cost; there is no meet-and-greet charge and no gratuity is expected. Jaipur's airport at Sanganer is about 12 kilometres from the walled city and the palace hotels, which by Indian standards is close, and the drive is straightforward at most hours. What changes the transfer is the season: through the literature festival in late January and the wedding months from November to February the hotel approach roads around Amer and the Rambagh carry far more traffic than the airport road itself, and the coordinator times the pickup on the hotel end rather than the terminal end. The fixed fare does not move either way.

Delhi, Agra and the circuit from the airport
Many arrivals at Jaipur are on the Golden Triangle or the Rajasthan circuit, and the onward leg begins at the airport. The wedding flights, the Literature Festival and the summer

The summer from April to June is hot and quiet.
