Arriving through Mumbai: the Expressway transfer

Most long-haul travellers to Pune land at Mumbai's Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International, and the Expressway transfer is the airport booking the Pune desk runs most. The chauffeur meets the flight at Mumbai T2 or T1 with a name board, the flight tracked and the hour of waiting inside the fare, and drives the 150 km down the Mumbai-Pune Expressway through the Ghats to Koregaon Park, Hinjewadi or the plants in about three hours, with the tolls at cost. Which car to book from Pune airport

The executive sedan, a Mercedes-Benz E-Class or BMW 5 Series, is the standard airport car for one or two passengers with two large bags, at $220 on the international card, and the car most passengers take down the Expressway from Mumbai. The luxury sedan, the S-Class or 7 Series, is $350 for a principal or a first-class arrival, and the Pune S-Class page covers it. The luxury SUV, a Fortuner, Land Cruiser or GLS, carries up to five with four bags at $280 and is the right car for a family or a journey on to the hills. The premium MPV, an Innova Hycross or Kia Carnival, carries six with five bags at $250 and is the value choice for a team. The V-Class and the group vans cover parties of six and twelve, and coaches through the network cover plant delegations. GST is added; tolls and parking are at cost; there is no meet-and-greet charge and no gratuity is expected. How to book a Pune airport chauffeur

Enter the airport, Pune or Mumbai, the flight number, the destination address, the date and the vehicle class on the booking page; the fixed fare and any night allowance show before payment by card or UPI, the confirmation arrives by email and WhatsApp, and the chauffeur's name, number and registration follow the day before with the meeting point. Return transfers are booked as two legs, and the desk times a Mumbai departure on the Expressway that day. Cancellation is free more than 72 hours before the pickup, then stepped inside 72, 48 and 24 hours.
