Two airports: Dabolim (GOI) in South Goa near Vasco da Gama, a civil enclave at the naval air station, and Manohar International Airport at Mopa (GOX) in the far north, open since 2023. The same airlines fly to both depending on the route, so the chauffeur confirms the code on the ticket. Dabolim is about 30 km to Panaji; Mopa is about 35 km to Calangute and about 45 km to Panaji.

Goa International Airport, Dabolim (GOI) and Manohar International Airport, Mopa (GOX) to the city
At Dabolim the chauffeur waits outside the single terminal's arrivals exit at the designated bay; at Mopa the meeting point is beside the arrivals exit of the new terminal. From Dabolim, the South Goa resorts at Cavelossim, Benaulim and Colva are 15 to 25 km and 30 to 45 minutes, and Panaji about 30 km. From Mopa, Morjim and Vagator are about 20 km, Calangute and Candolim about 35 km and 50 to 60 minutes, and Panaji about 45 km. The two airports are an hour and a half apart, so the chauffeur confirms the airport code the night before.

Where a day in Goa actually goes
Goa's working economy beyond tourism sits in the Verna industrial estate between the two halves of the state, where the pharmaceutical and electronics plants are, at the Mormugao port and shipyard near Vasco, and in the state offices and corporate branches at Patto Plaza in Panaji. A corporate day-hire is usually a Panaji or South Goa hotel to Verna and back with a Patto meeting; a conference booking at the Grand Hyatt at Bambolim or the Panaji hotels is a multi-day hire with airport shuttles for delegates. Medical-travel runs go to Manipal Hospital at Dona Paula and Goa Medical College at Bambolim. Distances are short but the roads are two-lane and slow, so the chauffeur quotes by the hour.

Day trips, festivals and occasions from Goa
The excursions are Old Goa's churches and the Fontainhas quarter for a heritage morning, the Ponda spice plantations for lunch, and Dudhsagar Falls, where the chauffeur drives to Mollem and a forest-department jeep takes over for the last stretch. Palolem and the quiet southern beaches are a day from the north. December is the peak: Sunburn, the St Francis Xavier feast, Christmas and New Year fill every room and the chauffeur books by the day, not the transfer. Rail passengers are met at Madgaon (MAO) for the Konkan Railway and the Vande Bharat from Mumbai, at Thivim (THVM) for North Goa arrivals, and at Karmali (KRMI) for Panaji.
